HOW TO FIND US!
If we are towing, we will be located somewhere between the Del Rey and Sunset Beach approaches (entrances). and our typical meeting location is on the beach at the Sunset approach, and we travel south to the location of the day from there.
If the winds are coming from the north, we will be located closer to the Del Rey approach, while if the winds are coming from the south, we will be closer to Sunset.
Locations marked below are approximate, and will vary daily due to beach use, wind direction, and tidal conditions. Call or text us to find out exactly where we are on any given day. Our location varies to suit the weather conditions and class dynamic of the day.

SEASIDE
Where we fly in the Seaside/Gearhart Area
Locally, paragliders are using a ground based towing system where a vehicle with a specially designed winch system pulls the paraglider aloft. The vehicle and paraglider start in close proximity, with the paraglider climbing higher as the vehicle drives along the beach between Sunset and Del Rey Beach approaches. Elevations of over 3000’ can be reached with this method. Once the paraglider reaches maximum altitude, the tow line is released and quickly rewound into the tow vehicle.
Please be aware if there are paragliders in the air, there is probably a towline somewhere beneath them. Also note that while we are towing, we will be remain in the space depicted below.
Operations will frequently be conducted during daylight hours for the duration of the of our flying season. (Approx. March 15 to October 15th.)
